Bay Wing rooms feature individual balconies that seem to extend out over the ocean giving the feeling of almost being out at sea. Rooms are in pleasing pastel shades and are provided with air-conditioning, canopied beds, 24-hour satellite TV and a fully stocked mini bar. Children under 12yrs can share their parents’ room and breakfast will be charged at US$5 per child. Please note that this hotel is NOT in the city centre itself but 12 km south of the business district. Getting into the centre is not at all a problem however, and takes around 10-30 mins depending on traffic and taxis are cheap. (“tuktuks” (three wheeled rickshaw) will cost about $5 one way into town at most, a proper taxi cab costing around $10) Personally we prefer staying out of the city centre because it is far more relaxing to come back to after a day out shopping and sightseeing in the city!
