C - Rustan's
One of the more affluent-looking department stores in Manila, Rustan's is where you encounter such globally known luxury brands as Cartier, Dunhill, Tiffany and Lalique. Rustan's is also worth a visit for its Philippine section, which carries a fine selection of native arts and crafts. Opened in the 1970s, Rustan's has been surpassed in size and scale by newer shopping malls, but it remains the preferred department store of Manila's rich and famous.
D - SM Makati
Located next to Glorietta Mall, SM Makati is a part of the SM Prime Holdings, possibly the biggest mall chain in the Philippines. SM Makati is mainly a department store, offering quality goods ranging from clothes, toys, electronics, cosmetics and shoes with affordable prices. E - The Landmark
Not everybody has the means or the inclination to shop at Rustan's or Glorietta around the corner. This accounts for The Landmark's enduring mass appeal. Moreover, the store does have its own merits. It is set up in a way that welcomes and encourages browsers and window-shoppers, and the sales attendants neither hustle nor hurry the customers. Prices are also very affordable. Provided you are not looking for anything fancy, this is a good place to shop for clothes and household items.
F - Park Square I and II
Located beside the Glorietta Mall in Makati City, Park Square features shops devoted to electronics and gadgets, audio entertainment stores, specialty hobby shops and various service centers.
